WEEK EIGHT
The comic book I chose to read for week eight was The Fifth Beatle . The Fifth Beatle appealed to me because I’ve always been interested in rock music from the 1960’s, and especially The Beatles. Reading a comic book based on what kind of people the Beatles were at first, how they rose, and the man behind them trying to get them internationally famous was something I was able to understand and connect with. The imagery of The Fifth Beatle is really captivating. The first frame shows an establishing bird’s eye view of Liverpool. Liverpool is portrayed as dreary and lower class.
